The only reason is his contract was expired. His contract was not extended. The minister said, “The contract for Aamir Khan as ended and as the contract with the agency is no more, Aamir Khan is also no longer part of Incredible India campaign.”

When asked about, ‘Intolerance’ remarks, the tourism minister never responded to those. Earlier Aamir Khan spoke about intolerance and he was lashed out for being so aggressive and against India. There has been huge buzz against those comments since then.

Aamir Khan, however, got support from opposite party Congress and this has caused more rage in BJP and its supporters. Everyone said that Aamir discredited the central government. Some reports say Aamir was intentionally taken from the campaign due to ‘Intolerance’ debate and they just mention contract as an excuse.
