Tamil Nadu will have assembly elections by month of May. All political parties will start their canvassing by month of March. The whole state will be flooded with party posters and banners. Everyone will be addicted to elections as the campaigns will be in full throttle.
Movies will be the least of all brothers that period. Tamil cinema will have a worst time during those elections. So most of the producers have decided to release the movie before the election heat begins. Tamil cinema right now has Surya’s ’24’ and Vijay’s ‘Theri’.
Both the movies are completed and they are in post-production phase. So the producers have decided to release the movie by month of April itself. The post-production work is rushed right now. At the same time, March will be busy with SSC and HSC exams.
Rajini’s ‘Kabali’ and Dhanush’s ‘Rayil’ might get a delayed release. The projects will release after elections in month of May. But we still need to get an official confirmation. Watch out this space for more updates.
