Chennai: Dhanush Kodi Movie release date has been revealed by the makers and it will be coming for this Ramzan. Makers said that Ramzan is a lucky day for Dhanush.
The multi-talented actor Dhanush is currently acting in a movie named Kodi. Its directed by DuraiSenthilkumar. Trisha and Shamili are playing the female leads in this movie.Dhanush plays dual lead roles. The current hit maker music director Santosh Narayanan scores the music.

This is the first time Dhanush is working in the Santosh Narayanan musical. It is a big surprise for the film fraternity that Dhanush has opted for SantoshNaryanan instead of his lucky charm music director Anirudh, who also happens to be his relative.

The Kodi movie crew is busy shooting day and night for the movie in scenic locations in Pollachi, Pazhani and Coimbatore. Industry insiders say that this movie might be released on Ramzan festival day. It must be noted that Dhanush previous movies  likeVelayillaPattadhari and Mari which were released on last two Ramzans were grand successes. Dhanush is desperate to deliver a hit movie becaused his previous movie Thangamagan flopped miserably. All work is done in one more Dhanush starrer directed by director Prabhu Solomon and the movie is ready to be released. But the released date of this movie is not yet announced.
