The CBSE has launched pre-exam counseling session for students and parents to overcome exam related tension. The CBSE Pre Exam Counselling programme will begin from 2nd February.

Students can dial a toll free number 1800 11 8004 from any part of the country and get details regarding all examinations. In this program, the psychologists will take part in the the-counselling session and will address exam related psychological problems of the students. In this program, the principals and trained counselors from within CBSE affiliated schools located in and outside India will be trained to help students.

During this year, 72 principals from government and private schools, trained counsellors and few psychologists will participate in the-counselling. Out of this, a total of 62 counsellors is from India whereas 10 are located in various countries like Oman, UAE (Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah), Nepal, Saudi Arabia (Al Khobar) and Kuwait.
