Chennai: Aranmanai-2 movie problem which allegedly said that the movie has been violated copyright law by Muthuramalingam is solved smoothly. Justice Daniel Haribabu has ordered two parties and find a solution for this issue and Sunder C was accepted it.
Problems hounding the movie Aranmanai-2 have been solved smoothly. Yesteryear producer Muthuramalingam had filed a petition in the Chennai City Civil Court against Aranmanai-2. He has stated that he had produced a movie named Aayiram Jenmangal in 1978 starring Superstar Rajinikanth and actress Latha. He has blamed director Sundar.C for remaking his movie into Aranmanai-2 without his consent.
He has asked the court to ban the movie Aranmanai-2 because it violated the copyright law. The judge who inquired about this petition, Justice Daniel Haribabu, ordered the two parties to talk formidable and find a solution to this problem and inform the court regarding it.
Following this, the two parties entered into talks and found a solution. Lawyer Ananthan who represented Mr.Muthuramalingam, informed the court yesterday that the two parties have entered into a reconciliation.
He said director Sundar.C has accepted to pay Mr.Muthuramalingam Rs.10,00,000 for the story rights and gave a cheque for the same. The lawyer also submitted documents regarding it. Accepting their reconciliation the judge ordered Sundar.C to sign in the High Court’s Mediation Centre on February 1 regarding this.
