After the recent elections at the South Indian Actors Association the new executives have taken charge of their posts. Building a new office for the association, generating funds through star cricket and acting in movies made by the association without any remuneration are some of the objectives of the new team. On January 17, the executive council meeting was held under the leadership of Nasser.

The new executives have now accused the former executives of not submitting the accounts for the budget of the year 2014-15, and the accounts for the budget of Actors Guild Foundation for the year 2013-14 and 2014-15.

Since the former executives have not submitted the records even after three months after loosing the elections, the executive committee has decided to take legal action against the former executives.

The former treasurer Vagai Chandrasekhar has said that they have submitted all records of the accounts. The current executives have asked for some clarifications in the accounts. He said he needed some time to clarify on this matter. He said that there was no misuse of funds during his term as treasurer. He also said that he was ready to face legal actions if any.
