After lots of stars making their statements against ‘Intolerance’, now the latest to join is Irrfan Khan. Earlier Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan spoke in favour of intolerance and they got lashed out by media and everyone.

Now Irrfan Khan too joins the debate and he said, Celebrities are also part of the Nation and they have every right to express their opinion on National issues. He joined the ongoing ‘Intolerance’ debate and he said, Shutting up one’s mouth is never a good sign for a growing society.

He said, “I find it totally strange when few people say that actors should just act and never express their opinions on issues. Everybody has the right to speak their mind and concerns. If you are told to shut up then it is definitely not a good sign of a growing society.”

He also said, Indian cinema should speak the language of global audience to reach the outer world. He said, “Indian movies need to reach global audience. For that, it must find a new language. A new way of story telling. It is necessary to find the bigger audience.”
