Asia Cup T20 Tournament – India Vs Srilanka Match. A Must win the game for the Lankans but injuries worry them.

Injuries are worrying both the teams – India and Srilanka. Surprisingly both the skipper’s are present in the injured list. It is interesting to watch the teams as how they tackle this situation as this match is a decider for both the teams. For SL, this is a Do or Die match and for India, this match win will confirm the place for Finals.

Earlier, SL lost to Bangladesh and is facing a lot of criticism in and outside of SL. The defeat has compelled them to win this match or else they will be out of the Asia Cup T20 tournament. SL is mainly relying on its skipper, and the strike pace bowler Malinga who is struggling with his old Knee injury. The stand-in captain Angelo Mathews will lead his team in case of Malinga’s exit from the tournament.

On the other side, though India seems to be the hot favorites in this tournament till now, there are growing worries for the team with the injuries of Rohit Sharma, M.S Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan. The opening pair has to be worked out for SL match. It is expected that Parthiv may be opening in this match for India along with Rahane.

The performances of the star players – Suresh Raina and Yuvraj is also a worrying factor for India as both the players have not performed up to their reputations till now in the ongoing Asia T20 Tournament. Bowling department has a satisfactory performance till now especially with the new-comers – Pandya and Bumrah.
