Andhra Pradesh: AP Police arrested 27 years old Telugu actress Neethu Agarwal yesterday for a connection with smugglers of red sanders at Kurnool district, AP.
Superintendent of Police A. Ravikrishna told to reporters that a 27-year-old small-time Telugu actress Neetu Agarwal, who was on the run for past few days in association of red sanders smuggling case was arrested at Ullindakonda crossroads in Kurnool district while she was travelling in a car to Bengaluru.
Neetu acted for ‘Prema Prayanam’ film in a female lead role which is produced by the Kondampalli Mastan Vali, Changalamarri mandal president and YSR congress party leader, in 2013. She was associated with Mastan Vali, a lemon vendor who turned as red-sander smuggler and politician.
As per reports from police, Neetu was accused in a case of seizure of 34 logs of precious wood and she booked two months ago for this under Indian Penal code 9IPC along with some other relevant sections of Forest act. Her bank accounts are also seized during this time. Police found that she had been transferring Rs.1.05 lakh money to suspected smuggler Balu Naidu with an order of Mastan Vali, who was arrested on 13th April on same case.
According to details from police, the actress requested that she was married to a lemon vendor and politician Masta Vali who is a victim of domestic violence and she cried during the arrest.
