Karimnagar: K. Lakshmi, 9 month pregnant from Karimnagar district has run 5 kilometres nonstop within 30 minutes 20 seconds to set a Guinness world record.

As per details, Kamarapu Lakshmi, a 9 month pregnant from Bhagat Nagar of Karimnagar listed in the Telangana Book of Records. She made it at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar in the presence of doctors, athletes and Telangana Book records team.

Lakshmi says that, every day she is practising yoga, exercise and that is only the reason to achieve this. She has a 3 year old daughter and may be blessed with one more baby this week. She did same at the time of her first delivery and again tried it to make delivery ease. Everyone at stadium has appreciated her for great effort.

Lakshmi and her husband both are athletes and she has been practicing 5 KM run from long time. This is the first time in Telangana state that 9 month pregnant has run 5 km, for this she was listed in Telangana Book of Records and awarded with certificate. The team of book record has announced that they are going to submit Lakshmi details in to the Guinness Book of World records.
