Amitabh Bachchan and Shafaqat Amanat Ali to Sing National Anthem during India-Pakistan match at Eden Gardens on March 19th.

The ICC follows a mannerism of respecting every country that is participating in the Cricket game. The respect is shown by means of playing either the Music of the Country’s National Anthem or by singing it. Usually, it is done by the players along with few people that the board selects for. This time the ritual is done by Amitabh Bachchan for India along with the Indian Team players.

Bollywood’s  legend actor Amitabh and Pakistan’s classical singer Shafaqat Amanat Ali will stand together for rendering the national anthems of the two countries respectively before the start of the India-Pakistan World Twenty20 match held at the Eden Gardens here on March 19th, 2016.

Bachchan confirmed his presence for the match by tweeting a post in his personal twitter account on Tuesday. Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) sources confirmed that Ali will sing Pakistan’s national anthem.

Firstly, Amitabh Bachchan will sing the Indian National Anthem before the start of the match India-Pakistan World Twenty20 cricket match at the Eden Gardens March 19 then followed by the Pakistani Singer singing his National Anthem.

Cricket Association of Bengal on Tuesday said this is happening  because of the efforts made by its president Sourav Ganguly. The president was involved and the plan was on for a long time.
