Moderate drinking of Alcohol may be not dangerous according to the previous researches, but, the latest research results suggests that drinking alcohol is not preferable at all and staying away from that habit would be better than defining the consumption as moderate or over dosage.
The new research was conducted by the team of Tim Stockwell. He is the head of the University of Victoria’s Center for Addictions Research in British Columbia and Canada. The funding for this research was provided by the United States National Institute of Health.
Earlier in the past researchers conducted indicated that consumption of Alcohol may improve the life span of human life but the latest 87 long termed studies clearly indicates that the moderate drinking would not help in the life span increasing factor. Actually, a moderate amount of drinking alcohol is defined as one drink for women and two drinks for men at least once in a week.
The latest research also analyzed the death incidents in spite of the moderate alcohol drinking concept and found no such evidence were found. In the past, it was little dosage consumption of Alcohol was said to be good for Heart, but it also lacked medical proofs.
Of course, the moderate drinking concept may be applicable to those abstained drinkers who want to stop the habit suddenly. In keeping the view of the health conditions the moderate amount of alcohol drinking may say to be right for the abstainers.
However, ultimately it’s the Individuals who should act upon these health concerned issues based on their habitats and body health basis. The researchers conducted may not include all the aspects and all the human samples with which one can authenticate as what extent the results are applicable in general to the entire mankind.
