In the ongoing tournament played by Australia Vs Pakistan – ICC T20 World Cup 2016 has raised the anxiety among the cricket fans because based on this match the semi-finalists would be decided. The result of the match is much awaited by the Indians who are just waiting for the confirmation of their berth in the semi-finals list.

India’s win over Bangladesh only kept the semi-final chances alive in the ICC World Twenty20 2016. But this made things slightly tougher for Australia and Pakistan. When the two teams face each other in their Super 10s Group 2 game at I S Bindra Stadium each would know that a win is the least result that is needed in order to brighten semifinal aspirations for both.

IMPORTANCE OF TODAY’S MATCH :

If Pakistan beats Australia, then it has to wait for Australia to get the better of India and hope the net run-rate favours it. The biggest worry for Pakistan will be the condition of Mohammad Hafeez and Wahab Riaz. Both the players missed the last game against New Zealand due to injury

Australia, on the other hand, has to beat both Pakistan and India, which it faces at the same venue on March 27, to join New Zealand in the last four. Australia would want an evening where their entire batting unit fired, putting enough runs on the board for the Adam Zampa-led bowling unit to defend on a smallish ground.
