Panjab University, Chandigarh conducts common entrance test [PU-CET (U.G. & BHMS) ] for Admission to B. Pharmacy (Credit Based Semester System), B.Sc. (Hons. School) at P.U. Campus and BHMS at Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Sector-26, Chandigarh.

Recently Panjab University announced the dates for PU-CET 2016, which will be conducted in the month of May, held on Sunday, May 22, 2016. PU CET is conducted for taking admissions in B.Sc, B. Pharm and BHMS programs for the session 2016.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

  • Register Online. [Last date for registration: April 28, 2016].
  • Note down your Login Id and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also).
  • Take print out of bank slip (bank slip can also be downloaded from account using login id and password).
  • Deposit fee using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip. [Last date for submission of fee in any SBI branch: April 30, 2016].
  • Login again after 24 Hrs. of depositing fee and upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm. (Once you confirm the form, you will not be allowed to change information in the form). [last date for completion of form: May 02, 2016]
  • Download your Admit Card after May 11, 2016.

  • General Category 1760/-
  • SC/ST Category 880/-

Educational Qualification

  • Aspirants must be qualified higher secondary examination or 10+2 or equivalent examination with science subjects from Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
  • Candidates applying for PU CET UG 2016 should be cleared qualifying examination with at least of 50% of aggregate marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Categories)
  • The age of interested applicants should not be less than 16 years and not exceeded than 21 years.

How to apply for PU CET UG 2

  • In PU CET UG 2016 applicants need to follow steps for applying this exam successfully
  • Candidate can apply online by going to the official website of this board which is http://cetug.puchd.ac.in/
  • Now click on link “PU CET UG admission 2016” available on given page.
  • After that, you need to fill in all the prescribed details in the application form.
  • Then recheck all the details and submit it.
  • Now pay the application fee through Demand Draft to the Punjab University administration office
  • Get the hard copy of application form for further reference.

PU CET 2016 Important dates :

  • Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the bank challan: Thursday, April 28, 2016.
  • Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of state bank of India using website generated challan: Saturday, April 30, 2016.
  • Last date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information: Monday, May 02, 2016.
  • No correction will be entertained/ made regarding photograph, signature and any other information after Thursday, May 05, 2016.
  • Final date by which roll no. will be available online: Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
  • Date of PU-CET: Sunday, May 22, 2016.
  • Tentative date during which the result may be declared: Friday, June 03, 2016 to Sunday, June 05, 2016.
