As per reports it was publicly revealed by Saritha Nair, the key accused in the infamous solar scam in Kerala, the state’s Chief Minister Oommen Chandy sexually exploited her at his official residence.

Asianet News channel reported that the letter Saritha had written during her police custody in March 2013 had alleged that Chandy had sexually abused her at Cliff House, his official residence in the state capital.

In this letter she says that a personal staffer of home minister Ramesh Chennithala even tried to offer Saritha to some Union ministers. The letter dated March 19, 2013, was supposed to be submitted before Ernakulam chief judicial magistrate court.

She said that she was ready to produce the letter and the required evidence to a credible investigating agency. Saritha said that she would take legal action for a Central Bureau of Investigation into the scam.

As per latest updates, the chief minister has termed the fresh allegations politically motivated. He said that it was the last attempt to torpedo his government.

Saritha and her partner Biju Radhakrishnan were arrested on charges of cheating a number of investors who paid huge amounts to the tune of 6 crore for solar panels. 30 cheating cases were registered in several courts against Saritha and Biju.

But former DGP Prisons Alexander Jacob also states that Mr. Chandy’s name was not among the 13 VIPs mentioned by Saritha in a letter written from the prison.
