Targeting a commendable position in the scooter sale market, the Yamaha India has launched its new model Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR at Rs.52,000/-.

Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR scooter was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo show 2016. The two-wheeler was finally launched in India. The company has termed this vehicle as the next-generation real boy’s scooter.The Cygnus Ray-ZR is available with drum and disk brake versions, priced at Rs.52,000 and Rs 54,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

The Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR will be on to the roads from May 2016.

Ltd. – Vice President for Sales & Marketing, Roy Kurian stated that the total demand of two wheelers in India, the scooter segment has a 30% share the company is looking at 10% market share hold for the current financial year. Yamaha is known for its style, sportive look and innovative looks. This has attracted the youth a lot. The newly launched Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR is expected be grab real boys into its lap. Especially, style and technology preferring youth will love this model. Since 2012, Yamaha Scooters are enthusiastically accepted in the market by all. The launch of the Fascino in the year 2015, has witnessed a steep growth in sales. The strong product focus and market strategy of the company made to launch the new model to further tighten its grip in the sales share of scooters.
