Sairat Movie Collections has created the history at the Maratha box-office. It has collected 65 Crores in just 3 weeks of its release.
Directed by Nagraj Manjule, Sairat is a heartbreaking real love story. Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar has acted in the lead roles of the film. This movie is based on the intercaste marriages and the situations that prevail in and around Maharashtra region. The story mainly focuses on the caste differences. Earlier “Natsamrat” movie was the biggest hit in this year. Now, Sairat movie collections had broken all the previous records to become the highest Collecting Marathi film of all times.
In just three weeks of its release, Sairat movie collections amounted to Rs. 65 crores. Nearly 525 screens are filming this movie in the fourth week shows its impact on the audience. The first week collections amounted to Rs. 25 Crores across Maharashtra. This itself is an all-time record of collections by any movie in the Marathi language. After 11 days of the release the movie, collections reached Rs. 41 crores surpassing the record held by blockbusters like Natsamrat movie. Now, after the third week, it the collections has reached a total of Rs. 65 crores at the box office.

Currently, the movie is screened across the theatres of Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Goa states. The film is also likely to be made in other languages.
