In an interview to one of the news magazines, the director Ram Gopal Varma has stated that the stardom is decided for any hero with his box office collections. Earlier, the same director has praised Shah Rukh Khan a lot. The tweets dated in 23rd April 2016 and now his present statement has a total deviation. Now, in the eyes of RGV Salman seems to be great hero than Shah Rukh.
Read here the tweets of Ram Gopal Varma regarding Shah Rukh:
I call SRK as Megastar becos he neither has muscles of Salman nor workmanship of Aamir but yet he is taller than both by being just himself
— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) April 23, 2016
In the tweets RGV has taken the names of Mega star, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan for comparisions. He said that Rajinikanth is a great star when compared to Kamal as Rajinikanth maintains himself as a personality while Kamal tries to be some one else leaving his originality.
The Varma explination in comparing the heroes has been clarified in the same interview. The director thinks that emotions are to be carried out by the stars on screen. Salman does it well when compared to Shah Rukh. Choosing a difficult subject and making the emotions carry to the audience is only possible for the stars acting on the screen is great task as per Varma.
The actor Leonardo Di Caprio name is also mentioned by the director for choosing different films like Kamal Haasan. The emotions carried out by Rajinikanth and salman stays a plus factor for the actors as per RGV.
