Superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited film Kabali Release is once again postponed. Makers will soon announce the official release date.

Kabali has been making headlines ever since the teaser of the song Neruppu Da was out. Notably, many news channels carried special packages on Kabali as ardent fans stormed various social media websites pouring their love for superstar Citing delay in the post-production works, a source has revealed that the film will now have its worldwide theatrical release on July 15. Having said that, there is no official confirmation yet from the makers of the movie. Latest reports said that Kabali Release is once again postponed and the official date will be announced soon.

According to buzz in Kollywood, “Kabali” may release on 22nd July. But the Telugu producers deny any delay. They insist that the movie will come to the theaters on 15th July as announced earlier.  “The film is yet to be certified, but even before that contests and release dates are being announced. It is against the rules. We can decide the release date only after the film is officially certified.” “The exact reason is still unknown but the makers are most likely to push the release by a week. The film will now release on July 22. As soon as the censor is done, the makers will officially announce the release date,” a source from the film’s unit told reporters.

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the film features Rajinikanth as a don who fights for Tamils in Malaysia. Also starring Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh, Ritwika, Dhansikaa and Winston Chao, the film is expected to release in over 2000 screens worldwide.
