The highly anticipated Akshay Kumar starring Rustom Trailer has been released and brings Nanavati case back in focus.

Rustom Trailer presents, Akshay plays a Parsi, Rustom Pavri, in the romantic thriller which is said to be inspired by a real-life incident.If reports are to be believed, Akshay will essay the role of a naval officer loosely based on Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati. The infamous Nanavati case shook the nation back in the 50s.

According to the reports, the trailer certainly brings out some of those aspects, it also introduces an angle of whether or not the titular character was a patriot or a traitor; there are hints of some form of military espionage that he carried out, or threatened to, perhaps to secure his freedom. Speaking of Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz’s chemistry, it is simply beautiful. They look like one classic pair. The indeed make a perfect onscreen pair. The background score and dialogues are also perfect. We think that ‘Rustom’ will break many records at the box office.

This movie will is based on real life incident of Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati and we think nobody better than Akshay Kumar is apt for this role. Arjan Bajwa and Esha Gupta will also be seen playing key roles. This much-awaited film will be hitting the silver screens on August 12.
