Jagapathi Babu has been roped for the Mega Menalludu Sai Dharam’s upcoming movie under the direction of Gopichand Malineni.

Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu is on a signing spree. He is now one of the busiest actors in South Indian with a bunch of high-profile projects up his sleeve. He is currently busy shooting for Kalyan Ram’s ‘Ism’ and Tamil actor Vijay’s upcoming film.

According to the sources, Jaggu Bhai will play the role of Sai Dharam Tej’s father in this upcoming entertainer drama. Earlier both JB and Sai Dharam Tej have worked together for the movie ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jevitham’ and the movie was turned out hit. Now makers want to repeat the combination of father and son once again. Recently Jaggu Bai played the role of rich father of superstar Mahesh Babu’s movie ‘Srimanthudu’ which turned out highest grosser and stood after Baahubali. Makers are on the sentiments of his father’s role and want to repeat the magic on silver screen.

The makers are considering the title of the movie ‘Akathayi’. Actress Rakul Preet Singh has been approached to play the love interest of Sai Dharam. The music settings for this film are currently underway and the regular shooting will commence once Sai wraps up Tikka.
