Airtel’s free Wi-Fi services have been started in some of the selected Gurgaon locations as a part of Digital India programme.
The Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday launched the free Wi-Fi services in some of the selected Gurgaon locations. Airtel’s free Wi-Fi services have started the services and announced that they will be available for public for 30 mins per smart gadget.
Airtel’s free Wi-Fi services are the result of Digital India programme. The services are offered for free for the first 30 mins daily. A minimum amount will be charged for 30 mins usage. The same has been announced by the Bharti Airtel’s CEO – Delhi/NCR, Dhruv Bhagat.
The free Wi-Fi services can be availed by the ‘MSG powered by Airtel’. The places – MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, Sector 29 market, and Sarhaul Village can enjoy free Wi-Fi can enjoy the sessions on their devices. Airtel customers can connect to the Wi-Fi using the Airtel Hangout app also. Airtel had won the mandate for this Wi-Fi launch from MSG last year to provide the free Internet experience.
Wi-Fi usage is chargeable after first 30 minutes. Airtel users will be charged based on their data packs while the non-Airtel users will be charged via vouchers.
