Basavanna(Upendra) is a Brahmin boy who does not believe in the basic formalities of daily life. He hails from a family of priests who are the ancestral caretakers of a prestigious temple. Whatever important task the temple has to undergo, someone from Basavanna’s family fulfils it.

Whenever the temple has to undergo some important task, one of the family members has to do it. Now the twist to the tale, where Basavanna’s father dies and Upendra is forced to take the duty of the priest in the temple. When Bavsanna takes things in his hand, a murder attack is planned on him. But he survives. So who is trying to kill him? What should he deal with? Who are all the external forces?
Cast & Crew
Upendra, Saloni Aswani, and Ragini Dwivedi are in the lead roles, which have been written by the “Dandupalyam” fame, Srinivasa Raju. The movie has been produced by CR Manohar under the banner Tanvi Films. Mani Sharma has composed music for its songs and background score, while Venkat Prasad handled cinematography for the film.

Star Cast performance
Upendra has delivered a superb performance, which is the highlight of “Brahmana.” Saloni Aswani and Ragini Dwivedi have less screen space and they impress the viewers with their glamour. The movie has average production values. Music and camera work are attractions.
