Chennai: Popular actor Kamal Haasan is singing for Gautham Karthik next movie Muthuramalingam and famous music director Ilayaraja is composing tunes for this film.

Young hero Gautham Karthik is currently working in an under production movie Muthuramalingam. Rajadurai is directing this movie. Music is scored by Maestro Ilayaraja. Lyrics is by veteran writer Panchu Arunachalam. Ilayaraja and Panchu Arunachalam are coming together in this movie after many decades. He is the lyricist of Ilayaraja’s first movie Annakili.

Catherine Tresa and Priya Anand have been played female leads of this movie. Gautham Karthik father and veteran actor Karthik, Prabhu and Vivek plays supporting roles in this movie. This is the first time that Karthik is acting with Gautham. Prabhu and Vivek have already acted in supporting roles in Gautham’s previous movies.

The news is abuzz that Kamal Haasan will be singing a playback for this movie. The old war horses Ilayaraja and Kamal’s friendship go a long way. Kamal has previously sung for heroes like yesteryear actor Mohan and current heartthrob Ajith Kumar. Now he is getting ready to sing for  the next generation actor Gautham. Karthik has acted with Prabhu in various movies including Agni Natchathiram.

Kamal Haasan has acted with Prabhu in movies like VettriVizha and Vasool Raja. But this the first time Kamal and Karthik are working in the same movie. And it will be a delight to have so many veterans in the same movie. There is no doubt that this movie will be a grand success.
