A Huge Groove in Chennai Roads due to Chennai Floods

Chennai: Chennai Floods have made a huge Groove in Chennai roads and it creates more trouble for travelling. It is at Anna Salai-Vijayaraghava Road junction Teynampet.
Seems the aftermath of floods are still creating more troubles. Things are slowly turning back to normal in Chennai. The floods waters have been drained but still the gutter is creating troubles. In this case, all of a sudden, a huge groove was formed in the middle of Anna Salai.

A gaping hole formed near the Anna Salai-Vijayaraghava Road junction near Teynampet. This shocked all the passers-by who were crossing the roads. Regarding this, S.Prabhakar Babu who is residing in Guindy said, “A sudden groove has happened in the middle of a road and this has narrowed the road even more.

Vehicles are being diverted to various places. Now a major portion of Anna Salai has been barricaded. Already there was a little portion available due to Metro train works.” This never happened just in Anna Salai alone.

It also took place in South Boag Road, Vijayaraghava Road and G.N. Chetty Road. Right now concrete mixer was brought and all the spaces were filled. The sudden grooves have completely shocked everyone.
