Chennai: Director Bala is making plans to pay tribute to the legendary composer, Raja on upcoming Tamil cinema Tharai Thappattai audio launch.

Director Bala is known for crude violence, humour and drama genre movies. After ‘Avan Ivan’ debacle, the director came back strongly with ‘Paradesi’. The movie won lots of praises and accolades. The movie even fetched National Award. He is keen to keep the success.

Now the director is back after two year hiatus with the movie ‘Tharai Thappattai’. The movie features Sasikumar and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar hin lead roles. Isaignani Ilayaraja has scored tunes for this project and this is his 1,000th movie as a composer.

The movie also features Pragathi Guruprasad, Amuthavanan, Studio 9 company R.K.Suresh as antagonist. The movie has Bala’s usual technical team which includes Chezhiyan for cinematography and T.Kishore for editing.

As we reported earlier, the Audio launch will take place on 17th of December. The news was official. Now we hear Bala is making plans to pay tribute to the legendary composer. He has planned to invite all leading musicians, singers and conduct a live in concert along with the Audio launch. The event will happen at Nehru Indoor stadium.
