Chennai: Vimal starring Masala Padam rights are bagged AURAA cinemas and now the same films has purchased upcoming Tamil Cinema Anjala rights also.

Vimal is one of the minimum guarantee heroes in Kollywood. Most of his movies make easy profits for the producer. But in recent times none of his movies get a release. Even though the movie is completed, they face harships and struggle to get a release date.

‘Maapilai Singam’, ‘Rendavathu Padam’ were completed long back and they are still kept in queue. The actor was last seen in the movie ‘Kaaval’. Even that movie was a flop for the actor. Now he is expecting a release. This time the movie is ‘Anjala’.

‘Attakathi’ fame Nandita has paired with him. Debutante Thangam Saravanan directs the project. He is formerly associated with Director Writer Rathna Kumar, Moorthi and Director Sakthi Soundar Rajan. The movie has strong cast of actors like Imaan Annachi, ‘Aadu Kalam ‘ Murugadoss and Subbu Panju.

The distribution rights of the movie were recently purchased by AURAA cinemas who earlier bagged rights of ‘Masala Padam’ and ‘Mission Impossible Rogue Nation’. The Audio launch is happening tomorrow. Gopi Sunder has scored tunes.
