Airtel Hyderabad Marathon | Expected to Cross 10000 Participants this Year

Hyderabad, July 25: Airtel Hyderabad Marathon is going to be held on 30^th August 2015 in Hyderabad, the state government and event organizers are expecting more than 10,000 participants for this event.

Airtel Hyderabad Marathon is one of the road races in India organised by the Hyderabad runners and it considered as one of the most challenging race and best supported races in India. The event is going to be held on 30^th August, 2015. This marathon has several categories with target of amateurs as well as second runners.

Airtel Hyderabad Marathon offers 3K, 5K, 10K and Half and full Marathon categories, interested candidates can register online for this at any of category. The event organisers and state government is expecting more than 10,000 participants for this year mega event.

State Information and Technology Minister K.T Rama Rao was attended launch of logo, t-shirt and medallion to be presented to the participants and said that “I enjoyed the taking part with family at mega event previous edition and I am also expecting for this time more than 10,000 participants for this. The GHMC, health and Sanitation workers and police will also help the organisers to showcase the uniqueness of Hyderabad and I requested the all the citizens to come out in large numbers to support this event”.

Murali Nannapaneni, race director said that “Primary object of run is not only including the habit of fitness among Hyderabadis but also defines the characters of the city itself. The mega run includes three major categories the half marathon, the full marathon and 5K run and also the baby run of three km run. Till now 7000 candidates are registered for this mega event and expecting that more than 20,000 participants over next month”.
