Mumbai: Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai has been prayed at the golden temple in Amritsar for the biopic of Sarabjit. She was acting as a Sarabjit sister Dalbir Kaur.

Sarabjit is a biopic drama directed by Omung Kumar. The movie features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in titular roles. Darshan Kumar, Richa Chaddha, Shivani Saini, Charanpreet Singh, Ankur Bhatia are part of the cast.

The movie will be narrated through a perspective of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur. Aishwarya Rai essays the role of Dalbir Kaur. The actress is currently shooting for the movie in Amritsar and she looked like a Punjabi belle. She offered prayers at the City’s Golden temple.

Aishwarya Rai was spotted with less make and was wearing a Salwar Kameez. Even the Salwar was looking so dull. Scenes for the biopic were shot inside the langar or community kitchen and featured the actress cleaning utensils, cleaning floor and cooking vegetables.

The actress was seen with her three-year-old daughter Aaradhya and her mother Vrinda. All of them were seen at Mumbai Airport too. The real Dalbir Kaur said, “Aishwarya Rai is a perfect choice. I wish the movie depicts the real hardships faced by Sarabjit Singh which he faced in the Kotlakhpatrai jail of Lahore in Pakistan
