Chennai: During final day shooting of Vedhalam movie, superstar Ajith got a severe ankle injury on set. With pain he somehow managed and finished shooting.

Ajith is a thorough professional and he is one of the actors who don’t prefer to go with dupes. He did some risky stunts in his career. Last time during ‘Arrambam’ he injured his ankle and he undergone a surgery.

The actor right now acts for Vedhalam under Siva direction. Shrutihaasan pairs with him and supporting cast includes artists like Rahul Dev, Kabir Singh, Motta Rajendran, Soori, Mayilsamy, Ashwin Kakumanu and Vidyuraman.

Final day of shooting took place yesterday and a song sequence was shot. Ajith while dancing injured himself and his ankle was injured so badly. The entire unit was shocked as the same spot was operated due to injury while shooting in ‘Arrambam’.

Ajith doesn’t want to stop shooting and he continued it after a small break. Sources inside the team revealed that Ajith completed entire shooting with lots of pain. Source also revealed that Ajith completed dubbing works for entire first half.
