Akhil Akkineni has declined the rumors that Vamsi Pydipally who was supposed to be the director of his next had been opted out of the project.
There are many names in circulation to direct Akhil Akkineni second though none of them finalized till now. Entire family studied many scripts and heard many storylines. They also scouted for the right director to relaunch him.
As per source, Akhil took to twitter to clarify the news. “My dear friends from the print and online media. I have a manager and a PR team. Please feel free to call or meet whenever you’d like. But writing false info without confirming is not only damaging but also hurts your credibility. Vamshi and I are very much working together. I had never made an announcement about any film officially. I will announce my film as soon as I feel I have found the right subject. Thank u.” he tweeted.
He said that there was no truth to the reports and said that he would still be working with Vamshi. But he also did not commit himself to saying that his second film would be with Vamshi.
Probably that should give clarity, but it’s surprising that still Akhil and Vamsi didn’t find a right subject. All eyes will now be on Nagarjuna’s son to see what he comes up with next.
