Alia Bhatt launched Ikk Kudi the second song of her much-hyped upcoming film Udta Punjab at an event in Mumbai.

Bollywood short beauty Alia Bhatt is one of the top most actresses in the Hindi film industry. She is one of the great filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt daughter and proved herself as a good actress with her movies like Highway, 2 states and much more.

The song is titled Ikk Kudi and is about her character in the new film.While the film’s first song, Chitta Ve featuring Shahid Kapoor, has already become a raging hit since its launch a while back, she hopes Ikk Kudi will be just as popular.

The high-point of the event was when Alia took the microphone and crooned a few lines of the song and she had a professional singing experience earlier when she sang a number for her 2014 hit Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and even sang a small piece in Highway’s Sooha Saha, clearly enjoyed Tuesday’s impromptu singing bout.

The flick is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and features Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor playing the main lead roles. On the other side, Highway girl is also portrayed in a unique avatar and music for the flick is composed by Amit Trivedi.
