Mumbai: Alia Bhatt next Bollywood movie will be under direction of Gauri Shinde. Previously team planned to cast Katrina Kaif for this hindi movie and finally Alia replaced her.

The ace director who taste success with her debut film English Vinglish starring Sridevi in lead role is going to direct another film very soon. After English Vinglish, she has not signed any project up to now and very soon another film will go for sets.

Earlier Gauri made a statement that, she is going to direct a film under Dharma productions which will be produced by top film maker Karan Johar. Now latest update is that, Director Gauri Shinde roped beautiful actress Alia Bhatt in lead role.

Previously, the ace director was approached Katrina Kaif for this project, but Kat said “No” to the project. Actually she missed a great chance because she was supposed to appear in the film without makeup. So finally Gauri Shinde has considered Alia Bhatt Name for the role, but Alia has not offered this role yet.

Alia Bhatt has good movies in recent times and she proved her already a good actress. Currently Alia Bhatt is acting in Vikas Bahl new film ‘Shandaar’ along with Shahid Kapoor in lead role. This will be released in October. She is also working another project under production of Karan Johar for ‘Kapoor and Sons’.

As per news revealed by director, there will be another three new comers opposite to Alia in the film and those names have not yet announced by makers. Karan Johar is active in making career choices for Alia ever since the two worked on Student of The Year. The film will go on floors in next year.
