Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor starrer Shandaar movie is planning for a huge release in South India, especially at Chennai. Will Alia success in South?

We reported earlier that Alia Bhatt will pair with Mahesh Babu under A R Murugadoss direction. She never signed the dotted line, but will sign the project in few days. Alia right now has her eyes on Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Shandaar’.

‘Shandaar’ is a romantic-comedy movie made in Bollywood. It was directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Shaandaar has a strong supporting cast of actors like Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Kapoor, Sanah Kapoor, Sushma Seth, Anjana Sukhani and Karan Johar.

The technical team comprises of Amit Trivedi for music and Anil Mehta for cinematography. Fox Star Studios will distribute the project. As we know Fox Star Studios is also distributing Vikram’s ‘Pathu Endrathukulla’.

Now distributors feel this as the right time to test Alia Bhatt’s fan base in South India. ‘Shandaar’ will release huge in Tamil Nadu. We also hear that makers are planning to have a dubbed release if it does well at the Box-Office.
