Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starring Piku movie is a huge success, now this Bollywood actor has signed with the same director and produced by Shoojit Sircar.

‘Piku’ is one of the successful comedy-drama genres in Bollywood. The movie got released by May 8, 2015. Shoojit Sircar directed the project. N.P. Singh, Ronnie Lahiri and Sneha Rajani produced the movie as a joint venture.

The movie featured Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irfan Khan as protagonists. The movie is about a cab driver (Irffan Khan) getting caught between an aging grumpy father (Big B) and his short tempered daughter (Deepika Padukone).

The movie is already labeled as one of the biggest blockbusters. Now Amitabh Bachchan has signed another movie with Shoojit Sircar. As ‘Piku’ was a huge success, Amitabh has signed a project which will also be produced by Shoojit.

Regarding this Shoojit said, “We have signed Amitabh Bachchan for a new movie and I will produce it. Me and Amitabh ji share a good bonding and it is always an honour to work with him. I can’t say more about the movie. All I can say is, it is going to be a Delhi based movie. The movie will be produced under Rising Sun Films banner.
