Will the Sticker Branding Stop?

Chennai: Amma Sticker with Photos of Jayalalithaa are still branding and even NGO’s are allowed inside after the mandatory condition of sticking ‘Amma’ stickers on each package

Chennai People slowly turn to normalcy as rains have stopped and flood waters have receded. NGO’s, Municipal workers and lots more helping hands are still providing relief items to bring the normal livelihood. But the State Government has grabbed everyone’s attention for all wrong reasons.

The main reason is the relief materials which are provided even by NGO’s are allowed inside after the mandatory condition of sticking ‘Amma’ stickers on each package. The news became a huge issue and entire state showed its rage against these Amma stickers. But even then the ‘Amma’ branding doesn’t seem to get low. Till yesterday ADMK party members were providing relief materials with Jayalalitha stickers. A video of an ADMK Counselor having war of words with an NGO is going viral on social media. Lots of Political party leaders have opposed this and they have requested the ADMK members to be sensible.

Jayalalitha is also providing muted response with respect to this issue. When we contacted concerned persons, they said, if any such thing happens, people can lodge a complaint at, 91-44-28130787, 28132266, 28133510 or [email protected]
