Google’s latest version of Android called as Android Marshmallow has a list of features and the official release of operation system will be made soon.
Google has introduced the latest operating system Android Marshmallow, the official announcement of Android 6.0 will be made soon. Google has also announced its new Nexus phones, the Huawei made Nexus 69 and the LG made Nexus 5X. The company is also demonstrated about the 36 new features of latest operating system.
The new Android version has bunch of features and improvements and was announced at Google I/O back in May. Latest Android 6.0 includes major features and improvements over Lollipop. Here are some of the important features of latest version.
Fingerprint Sensors: Android Marshmallow comes with built-in support for fingerprint scanners on phones, which allows users thumb impression to unlock phones and also make purchases during online and offline shopping.
Doze
Android Marshmallow has a new feature called as Doze which is designed to reduce battery consumption when the phone is not in use.
USB Type C Support
This brings faster data transfer and also faster charging
App Permissions
Users now can allow or deny specific permissions to apps on Android Marshmallow devices.
New Languages
Android Marshmallow is now available in more than 70 languages with 6 new additions including Azerbaijani, Gujarati, Kazakh, Albanian, Urdu and Uzbek.
Android for work improvements
When receiving calls or viewing past messages, users can see the full work contact details without login into work profile.
