Vijayawada, June 9: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is shifting his base to Vijayawada from current city, Hyderabad. He opened camp office on Monday after state separation.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu along with his cabinet colleagues, his brother-in-law, N. Balakrishna started work at new camp office that is built at Vijayawada and the opening ceremony was with amid chanting of Vedic hymns by priests at the spot.
As shifting entire administration is not possible at one sight, Babu planned opening this camp office as first step to start building their own rules and regulations for AP state. The officials already started the work for constructing their capital city as Singapore and now with this camp office, they can facilitate to meet the generals for discussing on various topics.
The office was first thought to be inaugurated on Saturday after performing ‘bhoomi puja’ for new state capital Amaravati with a master plan in Guntur district. As there is a delay in the reach time of Naidu, mahuratam is missed and later did it on Monday. It is said that Naidu ay spent 3 to 5 days a week in this newly formed camp office at Vijayawada.
As Hyderabad is declared as common capital city for 10 years to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states, Naidu celebrated the occasion of one year with inaugural of camp office on June 2.
