Andhra Pradesh, 13 May: Founding stone for new capital city of AP, Amaravathi to be laid by state Govt on coming 6th June 2015. Amaravathi is near Tullur of Guntur district.
Andhra Pradesh Government has been planning to lay the foundation stone for building capital city in Vijayawada region on the first week of June. As per official news the state government has decided to lay foundation stone for the new capital city at Amaravathi, near Tullur of Guntur District.
The Vedic Pundits told that, June 5, 6 and 8 are the auspicious days to start the ground-breaking ceremony for the new capital for the state government. And also told that if they miss these three dates, then there are no favourable days till next March.
The labour minister K Atchannaidu told to reports after 8 hours cabinet meeting that, “the state government is planning to lay a foundation for new capital city on June 6th. And the constructions works to building a capital city will be started from the Dussera festival, which is on 22nd October, which is considered to be a favourable day for starting any works.”
Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has asked his cabinet colleagues on a meeting, to set up their individual camp office in Vijayawada by June 2. He also directed AP state ministers to start work for the new capital region at least for few days in a week from June 2.
