The proposed Apple innovation Center at Hyderabad is getting ready for the project much earlier that expected.
The Apple’s technical development center is getting started in Hyderabad. The Head of Apple Corporation, Mr Tim Cook has arrived in Hyderabad especially for the Apple Innovation Center starting. The news is that both Tim and Telangana Cheif Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be meeting on Thursday at 11.00 A.M. The centre will be developing digital Maps same as Google.
Already, 2.5 lakhs sft. has been allotted for the building. The Apple Innovation Center will be located in the Finacial district of Gachibowli. It is heard that this is the first Apple’s outside technical development centre from its main base in America.
Earlier it was decided that the centre would be started in the month of June. But somehow Tim Cook has arrived prior to the fixed date to start the works. It is estimated that the innovation centre would start its work with around 1000employeess initially. Later on, the employees would be around 4500 for the task. By this year end the Apple maps work will be started in full pledged manner.
For developing the maps like Microsoft and Google, Apple is also gearing up for the same for its products. The iPhones, Mac Books and other gadgets will be including these maps as its competitors are doing. The Apple has decided to set up its technical development centre after having studied many places around the world like – Many parts in Europe, Some cities in India such as Bengaluru and Pune. Till date, Apple was giving priority to the China market. But, now it seems that the Apple’s concentration has turned onto the Indian market too.
Tim Cook is likely to meet the Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Maharashtra State government is already in talks with Apple product maker Foxconn Technology over setting up an iPhone manufacturing plant.
