Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood, Tollywood singer Asha Bhosle’s younger son Hemanth Bhosle passed away last night in Scotland due to cancer problem.
Popular Singer Asha Bhosle’s younger son and music composer Hemanth passed away on September 28th in Scotland. Hemanth was suffering with a cancer and finally last night he breathed his last.
This is very big blow and second loss in three years as her daughter Varsha had committed suicide in the year 2012. She was suffering from depression and was under Psychiatric treatment for the same.
However, the news was not immediately told to Asha because she was in Singapore to perform a live concert and after completion of concert, the matter was informed to her. Actually Asha may come to India for the birthday celebrations of her elder sister and Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar.
It’s also said that Asha Bhosle and Hemant’s relations had edgy in the past years following her fallout with her daughter-in-law and Hemant’s wife. Hemant Bhosle had composed music for movies like ‘Damaad’ and Marathi Bhavgeet ‘Sharad Sundar’ and Yeu Kashi Priya’, all of which his mother had sang. he had also composed music for Anil Sharma’s ‘Shraddhanjali’, Eshmayeel Shroff’s ‘Agar’ and ‘Taxi Taxi’ in which Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle had come together to sing ‘Laayee Kahaan Ae Zindagi’.
