Directorate of Technical Education DTE has released the Assam CEE admit card 2017. The exam date is scheduled on 4th June 2017. The admit card for the exam is released on 25th May 2017. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application forms can now download the CEE admit card 2017 from the official website dteassam.in
Assam CEE 2017 is an entrance examination for entry into engineering courses in the state for the academic year 2017-18. The application forms are accepted in between 20th April and 5th May. 1125 seats in 5 government colleges and 3300 seats in private colleges are filled up by this exam. Barak valley engineering college is added up to the government engineering colleges this year. The exam was previously conducted by Dibrugarh University.
DTE stands for Directorate of Technical Education. The foundation of technical education in Assam is the establishment of Prince of Wales institute of engineering and technology. DTE was established in 1960. Now it consists of 5 government engineering colleges and 10 polytechnic colleges. It has been a long journey since it was established.
The question paper consists of 120 questions and the duration of the exam is 3 hours. Equal marks are allotted to maths, physics and chemistry subjects. The selection is purely based merit in the written exam. Students must study NCERT syllabus to crack the exam. Carrying Assam Common Entrance Examination admit card and identity proof to the exam hall is mandatory. Be there at the exam hall one hour before the reporting time.
