Aung San Suu Kyi’s NLD Party Wins in the Mayanmar Elections

Mayanmar: Aung San Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy (NLD)  party has won the majority of the seats of recently held in Mayanmar with more than eighty percent of the seats.

Aung San Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy (NLD)  party has won the majority of the seats of recently held in Mayanmar. Results of more than eighty percent of the seats have been announced, out of which Aung san suu kyi led National League for Democracy (NLD) party has won more than two thirds of the majority that is required to elect the president. This land sliding victory of NLD has put an end to the military backed rule for many decades.

Though Aung San Suu Kyi’s (NLD)  party has won in the recent elections in Mayanmar, as per the constitution she can’t become the president of the country. Sofar NLD government has won 348 seats which contributes more than two thirds of the parliamentary seats, still results of many seats have to be announced.

Now Suu Kyi’s party is in the driving seat to choose the president for the country. This huge victory gave NLD party much needed victory and helped them swept away the current ruling military backed ruled party.

The fight for the victory of Aung San Suu Kyi has made it clear that though she had been house arrested for fifteen long years, these fifteen long year house arrest made her stronger more and more powerful and the never give up attitude of her and her hope has once again proved that truth always wins.
