The green drive for two weeks beginning on July 8 is to ensure that the people leaving Hyderabad to their destinations will have the glimpse of flowery plants on both sides of the national highways and can enjoy the bliss of cool breeze coupled with the sylvan landscape up to 165 km stretch where the Telangana State frontiers end and connect the State to Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh.

As per source, Gathered in Hyderabad for the shooting of ‘Baahubali 2’, the team lent its considerable heft to the Haritha Haram campaign by planting tree saplings at Ramoji Film City (RFC) – a drive that took Twitter, at least by storm on Monday. With tens of thousands of followers on their social media accounts, the formidable team took to Twitter to give this scheme a leg-up. Rana Daggubati tweeted: “Began the day by planting in Ramanaidu studios Nanakramguda and ended by planting in Ramoji film city. #HarithaHaram.”

The Baahubali makers wrote: “Today we took part in the #HarithaHaram program and planted a number of saplings around our shooting location. The makers posted a few photos and a video on the official Twitter handle of “Baahubali.” They also requested all the fans of the “Baahubali” film series to take part in the Haritha Haram campaign and plant saplings.
