Bengaluru at 12 in Top 20 Technology-Rich Cities of World

Bengaluru, July 7: Bengaluru, center of India’s high-tech industry has been listed at 12th place in the top 20 technology-rich cities in the world. Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), global property consultant conducted a survey and revealed this info.

Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka and a center of India’s high-tech industry has bagged a new record now. It is listed in the top 20 technology-rich cities in the world according to a survey done by global property consultant Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). In the City Momentum Index Top 20 list, the city made the debut for India.

Reports say that London, San Jose and Beijing are top three cities on the list of survey done globally and Indian city ranked in 12th position. JLL India chairman and country head Anuj Puri said, “Bangalore has helped India debut on the ‘City Momentum Index’ Top 20 list — an annual survey carried out by JLL globally. Reinforcing the city’s status of being one of India’s premier technology centres, Bengaluru figures at No. 12 in the Top 20 technology-rich cities globally”.

As we all know that the Karnataka State’s capital city is one of the biggest places in India where technology related growth is high. And it considered as country’s heart for technology if IT and economic growth, jobs in software are considered.

Good economic growth, investments in infrastructure, presence of startups and significant supply of prime office space are some of the factors that contributed in Bengaluru’s strong performance in the survey. The officials said that with this achievement, the city has expanded its economic growth and fame all over the world.

Start-up projects are been encouraged along with financial support. Govt is also depositing money for infrastructure investments such as Bengaluru metro and a bus rapid transport system on the outer ring road. FDI projects reached at hike point of increment with 8% and made it as fastest-growing major cities in the world.

IT sector and associated IT-enabled services in this place are at their peak stage to offer many jobs to people and its robust demand made it to stand in the top list among the world.
