Bollywood Music Composer Aadesh Shrivastava dies of Cancer at 51

Mumbai: Bollywood music composer Aadesh Shrivastava passed way in Mumbai on Saturday at 12:30 am, at age of 51. He died at Kokilaben Hospital due to cancer.

Bollywood music composer Aadesh Shrivastava was battling with a cancer relapse and he had been undergoing for treatment at the hospital in Andheri for over 40 days, unfortunately he passed away on Saturday at around 12:30 am at Kokilaben Hospital.

Mr Shrivastava was fighting with cancer for five years, he had successfully fought with it when he was first time diagnosed in 2010, since that he was diagnosed with same disease again. He was in critical condition, when he was admitted to the hospital unluckily expired after battling the disease hard for over 40 days.

As per family members, he was undergoing for chemotherapy, but he was not responding to it, so the doctors have stopped to giving him chemotherapy. Mr Shrivastava is survived with wife Vijeta Pandit, a former Bollywood actress and sister of music-composer duo Jatin-Lalit and two sons Anivesh and Avitesh.

Mr Shrivastava composed chart busters like “Kaya ada Kya jalwe tere Paro”, Haathon mein aa Gaya jo Kal”, “Shava shava”, “Gustakhiyaan”, “Gar nalon ishq mitha”, “Sona Sona” and many others. He also judged the talent hunt show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” Challenge in 2005 and 2009.

As of now Adesh body is at Kokilaben hospital, the funeral will take place today at 12:30 pm at Oshiwara Crematorium, Andheri West.
