As per source, The Jungle Book Box Office Collections in India has collected over 10.97 crores on Thursday and got a huge response. This movie is released in four languages English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The Jungle Book” is the latest in Disney’s live-action reimagining of classic stories, following “Alice in Wonderland,” “Maleficent,” “Oz” and “Cinderella” — which took in $67.9 million in its opening weekend last year on its way to a $201.2 million domestic total and a $542.7 million global cume.
“The Jungle Book” grossed $28.9 million during the past weekend in a number of Asian and Latin American territories, including $7.6 million from India — the second highest industry opening for an American release. Besides the U.S. launch on Friday, “The Jungle Book” will also debut this weekend in China, Brazil, France, and Mexico.
The Jungle Book has emerged as a huge hit at the box office. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film is based on Rudyard Kipling’s character Mowgli and rekindles childhood memories. Neel Sethi’s film also has the second highest opening week collection.
The film has received positive reviews from both the critics and viewers. And thanks to a good word of mouth the film’s box office collections have been growing each day. Apart from Neel Sethi, the film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken, Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray and Lupita Nyong’o. The Jungle Book hit the screen on April 8 this year.
