BSNL introduced free 4G WI-Fi service launched at Srinagar international airport for first fifteen minutes. Authorities to introduce similar facility at hospitals other public places to benefit locals, tourists.

The BSNL 4G WI-Fi service was Started by Asgar Samoon, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, during a function at the airport.

The General Manager Telecom, Kashmir, Mohammad Salim Beg said the services would be extended to other parts of Kashmir to facilitate customers with high-speed Internet service through WiFi hotspots.

The WiFi services will be free for the first 15 minutes. Spoke person said passengers will have to login after turning on WiFi services on their laptops or smartphones or any other wireless device. Then, a BSNL-WiFi prompt will pop-up on their device and the passengers will have to register and then they will be provided with a one-time password.

BSNL officials are planning to place these free WI-fi facilities over 100 locations. This is going to be a big good news for Kashmir visitors.
