Director Kishan Shrikanth’s ‘Care of Footpath 2’ is all set to hit the Indian screens on 4th December, 2015. Care of Footpath 2 stars Bollywood on-screen character Esha Deol, Balika Vadhu performing artist Avika Gore in crucial parts. Alongside Marathi film ‘Court’, ‘Care of Footpath 2’ is set to be India’s official entry for Oscars 2016 in the Best Foreign Language Film class. Executive Kishan Shrikanth’s film has gotten a ‘lateral entry’ to the Academy Awards. This is the first time where a Kannada film has made gotten an Oscar section. The film is set for an all India discharge on 4th December. It will be discharged in Hindi as ‘Murder Them Young’.
Esha Deol’s mom, veteran performer Hema Malini, took to twitter to declare the news. Shes said, “Wonderful news which I must share with all of u! Esha’s bilingual movie in Kannada & Hindi has made a lateral entry into the 2016 Oscars!”
Director Kishan Shrikanth addressed media and said, “As a chief, there is a tremendous contrast between the first film and the spin-off in light of the fact that I took up my second film following a nine-year gap. I ought to say, in the stylish feeling of filmmaking and how the motion picture must be shot, there is a major distinction. As a specialist, I ought to say, I have developed. It was directed by the world’s most young film chief, Guinness Record Holder Kishan Shrikanth.
This film was initially shot in the Kannada dialect. It was named into other Indian dialects including Hindi, Oriya, Malayalam, Bengali and Tamil and also English. The film had a financial plan of 20 million rupees (about $450,000). The shoot went on for 55 days altogether, over a time of 5–6 months. Recording occurred in Mumbai. The film was discharged in 2006 with a running time of 135 minutes. It got the Best Children’s Film Award at the 54th National Film Awards. A vagrant ghetto kid is embraced by an old woman who discovers him on a pathway. He lives with her in the ghettos, where he brings home the bacon getting clothes. Care of Footpath 2 Storyline in Brief
Care of Footpath 2 is an emotional suspense thriller about millions of juvenile delinquents living in the slums of India, the environment which fosters their behavior, and how society — the public, the judiciary, the media, the police — reacts. Under strange circumstances, four teenaged friends are provoked to plan the murder of a senior police inspector. The youths are arrested and tried, which creates a media sensation. Non-governmental organizations try to reform the four juveniles while the public and police want them killed. The society pushes them to the wall and they struggle to reform in the face of these adversities.
Music
Manoj Santhoshi music is really big highlight for this film. All songs are come well in silver screen and BGM also feels nice.
Star Cast Performance
All characters played very well. Avika Gor of ‘Balika Vadhu’ fame will play a pivotal role in the film. Other names which have been considered for the star cast are Ramcharan, Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, Atul Kulkarni, Haripriya and Suhasini Manirathnam.
Kishan will direct the film along with his father Srikanth and his mother Shylaja will also play a key role in direction of the film. Manoj Srihari will compose music for the film.
