Delhi, June 24: AIPMT re-exam date announced by CBSE after Supreme Court decision. As per official report, AIPMT 2015 re-exam will be conducted on 25th July 2015.
Supreme Court directed the Central Board of Secondary Education to re-conduct the All India Pre Medical Test 2015 examination due to the rumour of question paper leakage. SC ordered the CBSE to complete the total examination process by 16th August 2015. So, on Monday the board has decided to conduct the re-examination on 25th July, Saturday.
Earlier the board has conducted the AIPMT regular examination on 3rd May, 2015, around 6.3 lakhs of candidates appeared for test and the board is supposed to announce results on 5th June, but due to the large-scale cheating in the test, Supreme Court ordered the management to postpone the results for some time.
Investigation regarding allegation is still in progress, all appeared candidates were eagerly waiting for their results and admissions in Medical colleges. But the SC has ordered the CBSE to re-conduct examination for all candidates.
Earlier SC ordered the CBSE to conduct the re-exam with in four weeks of time, later with the appeal of board management, SC extended the time and ordered to announce the results on 16th August, 2015. The management team of board has discussed about the time and venue details and announced the exam date as 25th July, 2015.
Only the candidates who appeared for regular examination in the month of May only eligible for re-exam, no fresh applications will be accepted. All applied candidates are requested to ensure functioning of their e-mail id’s and mobile number which is submitted at the time of application.
